From District Governor Terrell Thompson

The challenge to meet the needs of our communities & our neighbors everywhere has never been greater and Lions Clubs standing in the gap and being true to our motto of "We Serve" have never been more needed.

My challenge for the district is to make 2-T2 more receptive to the needs of our clubs, and for our district's leadership to do all in their power to make 2007-2008 the greatest year in the history of your Lions Club.

My challenge to each of you is:

• to renew your commitment to be a force for good in your communities;

• to visit with everyone about why you belong to a Lions Club;

• to live every day committed to our call to service;

• and expand our movement to the scores of people wanting to be part of the powerful, life-changing force that Lions Clubs offer.

Someone's life is better because of Lions Clubs International, because of your Lions Club, and because of you!

So, go out and share our message, be ready to accept the challenges to change and grow, and stand ready to serve when the time finds YOU!
